Sleep is unconscious Meditation. 

Meditation is conscious sleep. In sleep, we get limited Energy. In Meditation, we get abundant Energy. This Energy enhances the power of Body, Mind and Intellect. It opens the doors for our Sixth Sense and beyond. With this boosted Energy through Meditation, we will be relaxed, healthy and happy. It also helps to reach greater heights in the physical realm. Meditation is nothing but the journey of our consciousness towards the Self. In Meditation, we consciously travel from: Body to mind, Mind to intellect, Intellect to Self and Beyond. To do Meditation, first we have to stop all the functions of our Body and Mind i.e., body movements, seeing, speaking and thinking. Now, let us know how to do Meditation. For Meditation, the first thing is the Posture. You may sit in any posture. The Posture must be comfortable and stable. We can meditate either on the floor or on a chair. We can meditate in any place, where ever we feel comfortable. Sit comfortably. Cross your legs. Clasp the fingers. Now, close your eyes. Stop inner or outer chatter. Don’t chant any ‘Mantra’. Just relax. Totally relax. Just relax. When we cross our legs and clasp our fingers, energy circuit is formed and gives more stability. Eyes are the doors of the Mind. So, eyes should be closed. ‘Manthra chanting’ or any chattering- inner or outer, are the activities of the Mind. So it should be stopped. When body relaxes, Consciousness travels to the next Zone.

Laughing Yoga: What Is It and Does It Work?
Laughing yoga, also known as laughter yoga, involves a series of movement and breathing exercises to promote deliberate laughter.

It’s used as a remedy for physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments, as advocates believe that intentional (simulated) laughter can provide benefits equal to those of spontaneous laughter (e.g., laughing at a joke).

Though laughing therapy has been used for decades, laughing yoga was discovered by Dr. Madan Kataria, a family physician in Mumbai, India, in 1995.

Dr. Kataria claims that laughing yoga will help lift your mood, reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, increase energy levels, improve your quality of life, and help you better manage hardship.

He believes that learning to laugh on cue can help you deal with stressful situations by promoting optimism and positivity. Since you cannot always rely on external influences to make you laugh, learning to laugh on your own can be a valuable tool.

Along with this, laughter yoga is believed to help you better manage stress through controlled breathing. This allows for greater uptake of oxygen, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, your body’s natural relaxation system .

As adults become busy with life, activities that promote laughter can go to the wayside. As a result, laughing yoga was designed to teach people how to laugh on cue rather than relying on people or things to bring them joy .

Laughing yoga is accessible in over 110 countries and becoming increasingly popular online. Furthermore, laughing coaches are bringing laughing yoga workshops directly to people in places like college campuses, workplaces, and senior living facilities.


How to do it ?
Laughing yoga is usually practiced in a group setting, such as a club or workshop, and led by a trained laughing yoga instructor that coaches attendees through various exercises to promote enjoyment and laughter.

Most sessions begin with simple breathing techniques, clapping, and chanting to help people relax. For example, you may begin the class by clapping rhythmically 1-2, 1-2-3 while chanting “ho-ho, ha-ha-ha.”

Though it may seem silly at first, the intention of this exercise is to remove any internal judgment you may have and leave your ego at the door.

The session may also include improv exercises, citing positive affirmations, gentle stretching, yoga breath work, and meditation. Collectively, these practices are intended to help you laugh, let loose, and take yourself less seriously.

Does it work?

First, laughing releases endorphins and “happy” hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

It’s used as a remedy for physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments, as advocates believe that intentional (simulated) laughter can provide benefits equal to those of spontaneous laughter (e.g., laughing at a joke).

Though laughing therapy has been used for decades, laughing yoga was discovered by Dr. Madan Kataria, a family physician in Mumbai, India, in 1995.

Dr. Kataria claims that laughing yoga will help lift your mood, reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, increase energy levels, improve your quality of life, and help you better manage hardship.

He believes that learning to laugh on cue can help you deal with stressful situations by promoting optimism and positivity. Since you cannot always rely on external influences to make you laugh, learning to laugh on your own can be a valuable tool.

Along with this, laughter yoga is believed to help you better manage stress through controlled breathing. This allows for greater uptake of oxygen, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, your body’s natural relaxation system .

As adults become busy with life, activities that promote laughter can go to the wayside. As a result, laughing yoga was designed to teach people how to laugh on cue rather than relying on people or things to bring them joy .

Laughing yoga is accessible in over 110 countries and becoming increasingly popular online. Furthermore, laughing coaches are bringing laughing yoga workshops directly to people in places like college campuses, workplaces, and senior living facilities.


How to do it ?
Laughing yoga is usually practiced in a group setting, such as a club or workshop, and led by a trained laughing yoga instructor that coaches attendees through various exercises to promote enjoyment and laughter.

Most sessions begin with simple breathing techniques, clapping, and chanting to help people relax. For example, you may begin the class by clapping rhythmically 1-2, 1-2-3 while chanting “ho-ho, ha-ha-ha.”

Though it may seem silly at first, the intention of this exercise is to remove any internal judgment you may have and leave your ego at the door.

The session may also include improv exercises, citing positive affirmations, gentle stretching, yoga breath work, and meditation. Collectively, these practices are intended to help you laugh, let loose, and take yourself less seriously.

Does it work?

First, laughing releases endorphins and “happy” hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

Plus, it suppresses stress-hormones like cortisol. These effects are linked to a better mood, reduced pain, lower blood pressure, a stronger immune system, and lower stress levels and rates of depression

Nonetheless, engaging in laughing yoga presents virtually no downsides and can be practiced by people of all walks of life.

Walking Meditation

According to ancient Indian wisdom, there are several layers of our being, sometimes known as Koshas. These different layers include the physical body, the energy body, the mental body, the intellectual body, the spiritual body, the emotional body and the subtle body.

Depending on which tradition of yoga you follow there can be 4, 5 or even 10 layers of the body: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body and the energy body. If you have been practising yoga for some time you’ve probably heard the chakras mentioned. Chakras are part of our energy body.

Each chakra relates to a different set of physiological and psychological characteristics. When we learn about these chakras and their characteristics, we can begin to recognise any imbalances in the chakras and where our energy may be stagnant or perhaps too free-flowing. There are many simple practices we can do to bring our chakras, and our energy body as a whole, into balance including sets of yoga postures, meditations and pranayama. We can take steps to clear the traffic jams at the roundabouts, to carry on the analogy.

Energy is needed by the body for doing any mental or physical activity. This energy is acquired by eating healthy food and getting sufficient sleep. Apart from these two sources, the body also gets energized with yoga practice and regular meditation.

Laughing Yoga: What Is It and Does It Work?
Laughing yoga, also known as laughter yoga, involves a series of movement and breathing exercises to promote deliberate laughter.

It’s used as a remedy for physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments, as advocates believe that intentional (simulated) laughter can provide benefits equal to those of spontaneous laughter (e.g., laughing at a joke).

Though laughing therapy has been used for decades, laughing yoga was discovered by Dr. Madan Kataria, a family physician in Mumbai, India, in 1995.

Dr. Kataria claims that laughing yoga will help lift your mood, reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, increase energy levels, improve your quality of life, and help you better manage hardship.

He believes that learning to laugh on cue can help you deal with stressful situations by promoting optimism and positivity. Since you cannot always rely on external influences to make you laugh, learning to laugh on your own can be a valuable tool.

Along with this, laughter yoga is believed to help you better manage stress through controlled breathing. This allows for greater uptake of oxygen, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, your body’s natural relaxation system .

As adults become busy with life, activities that promote laughter can go to the wayside. As a result, laughing yoga was designed to teach people how to laugh on cue rather than relying on people or things to bring them joy .

Laughing yoga is accessible in over 110 countries and becoming increasingly popular online. Furthermore, laughing coaches are bringing laughing yoga workshops directly to people in places like college campuses, workplaces, and senior living facilities.


How to do it ?
Laughing yoga is usually practiced in a group setting, such as a club or workshop, and led by a trained laughing yoga instructor that coaches attendees through various exercises to promote enjoyment and laughter.

Most sessions begin with simple breathing techniques, clapping, and chanting to help people relax. For example, you may begin the class by clapping rhythmically 1-2, 1-2-3 while chanting “ho-ho, ha-ha-ha.”

Though it may seem silly at first, the intention of this exercise is to remove any internal judgment you may have and leave your ego at the door.

The session may also include improv exercises, citing positive affirmations, gentle stretching, yoga breath work, and meditation. Collectively, these practices are intended to help you laugh, let loose, and take yourself less seriously.

Laughing yoga is accessible in over 110 countries and becoming increasingly popular online. Furthermore, laughing coaches are bringing laughing yoga workshops directly to people in places like college campuses, workplaces, and senior living facilities.


How to do it ?
Laughing yoga is usually practiced in a group setting, such as a club or workshop, and led by a trained laughing yoga instructor that coaches attendees through various exercises to promote enjoyment and laughter.

Most sessions begin with simple breathing techniques, clapping, and chanting to help people relax. For example, you may begin the class by clapping rhythmically 1-2, 1-2-3 while chanting “ho-ho, ha-ha-ha.”

Though it may seem silly at first, the intention of this exercise is to remove any internal judgment you may have and leave your ego at the door.

The session may also include improv exercises, citing positive affirmations, gentle stretching, yoga breath work, and meditation. Collectively, these practices are intended to help you laugh, let loose, and take yourself less seriously.

Does it work?

First, laughing releases endorphins and “happy” hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

Plus, it suppresses stress-hormones like cortisol. These effects are linked to a better mood, reduced pain, lower blood pressure, a stronger immune system, and lower stress levels and rates of depression

Nonetheless, engaging in laughing yoga presents virtually no downsides and can be practiced by people of all walks of life.

According to ancient Indian wisdom, there are several layers of our being, sometimes known as Koshas. These different layers include the physical body, the energy body, the mental body, the intellectual body, the spiritual body, the emotional body and the subtle body.

Depending on which tradition of yoga you follow there can be 4, 5 or even 10 layers of the body: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body and the energy body. If you have been practising yoga for some time you’ve probably heard the chakras mentioned. Chakras are part of our energy body.

Each chakra relates to a different set of physiological and psychological characteristics. When we learn about these chakras and their characteristics, we can begin to recognise any imbalances in the chakras and where our energy may be stagnant or perhaps too free-flowing. There are many simple practices we can do to bring our chakras, and our energy body as a whole, into balance including sets of yoga postures, meditations and pranayama. We can take steps to clear the traffic jams at the roundabouts, to carry on the analogy.

Energy is needed by the body for doing any mental or physical activity. This energy is acquired by eating healthy food and getting sufficient sleep. Apart from these two sources, the body also gets energized with yoga practice and regular meditation.

According to ancient Indian wisdom, there are several layers of our being, sometimes known as Koshas. These different layers include the physical body, the energy body, the mental body, the intellectual body, the spiritual body, the emotional body and the subtle body.

Depending on which tradition of yoga you follow there can be 4, 5 or even 10 layers of the body: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body and the energy body. If you have been practising yoga for some time you’ve probably heard the chakras mentioned. Chakras are part of our energy body.

Each chakra relates to a different set of physiological and psychological characteristics. When we learn about these chakras and their characteristics, we can begin to recognise any imbalances in the chakras and where our energy may be stagnant or perhaps too free-flowing. There are many simple practices we can do to bring our chakras, and our energy body as a whole, into balance including sets of yoga postures, meditations and pranayama. Meditation is nothing but the journey of our consciousness towards the Self. In Meditation, we consciously travel from: Body to mind, Mind to intellect, Intellect to Self and Beyond. To do Meditation, first we have to stop all the functions of our Body and Mind i.e., body movements, seeing, speaking and thinking. Now, let us know how to do Meditation. For Meditation, the first thing is the Posture. You may sit in any posture. The Posture must be comfortable and stable. We can meditate either on the floor or on a chair. We can meditate in any place, where ever we feel comfortable. Sit comfortably. Cross your legs. Clasp the fingers. Now, close your eyes. Stop inner or outer chatter. Don’t chant any ‘Mantra’. Just relax. Totally relax. Just relax. When we cross our legs and clasp our fingers, energy circuit is formed and gives more stability. Eyes are the doors of the Mind. So, eyes should be closed. ‘Manthra chanting’ or any chattering- inner or outer, are the activities of the Mind. So it should be stopped. When body relaxes, Consciousness travels to the next Zone.

Meditation is conscious sleep. In sleep, we get limited Energy. In Meditation, we get abundant Energy. This Energy enhances the power of Body, Mind and Intellect. It opens the doors for our Sixth Sense and beyond. With this boosted Energy through Meditation, we will be relaxed, healthy and happy. It also helps to reach greater heights in the physical realm. Meditation is nothing but the journey of our consciousness towards the Self. In Meditation, we consciously travel from: Body to mind, Mind to intellect, Intellect to Self and Beyond. To do Meditation, first we have to stop all the functions of our Body and Mind i.e., body movements, seeing, speaking and thinking. Now, let us know how to do Meditation. For Meditation, the first thing is the Posture. You may sit in any posture. The Posture must be comfortable and stable. We can meditate either on the floor or on a chair. We can meditate in any place, where ever we feel comfortable. Sit comfortably. Cross your legs. Clasp the fingers. Now, close your eyes. Stop inner or outer chatter. Don’t chant any ‘Mantra’. Just relax. Totally relax. Just relax. When we cross our legs and clasp our fingers, energy circuit is formed and gives more stability. Eyes are the doors of the Mind. So, eyes should be closed. ‘Manthra chanting’ or any chattering- inner or outer, are the activities of the Mind. So it should be stopped. When body relaxes, Consciousness travels to the next Zone.
